Finding Peace In A Frantic World

Would you like to develop or enhance your mindfulness practice?

Would you like to know more about the science behind the practice and how it can help you live life with greater enjoyment?

This eight week course was developed by the Oxford Mindfulness Centre at Oxford University. It was developed by Mark Williams and Danny Penman.  It  originates from Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT); however, it is  designed to be offered in non-clinical settings.   It includes eight weekly sessions of 90 minutes each.

The program was designed to help people manage and respond to the everyday demands of life with intentionality and wisdom.  Each week offers an opportunity to learn simple, secular mindfulness practices which enhance wellbeing  through nurturing a sense of ease and kindness towards oneself and others.

Each session includes guided mindfulness practices, new learning and inquiry.  Participants have access to all guided meditations and resources between sessions to develop and deepen their personal mindfulness practice.  This course is secular and evidence-based program which is suitable for individuals, teams , schools and other organizations.
